 Thank you for giving us life and sustaining us with your bounty, 

for nurturing us with your Love and beauty,

and for tolerating us, 

despite our making a huge mess of things. 

You are the best mother any child could ask for!

So giving, patient and wise. 

We do not deserve such devotion, 

and yet, like the wonderful mother that you are, 

you forgive us our mistreatment of you, 

take us into your arms

and hold us safely

even in our darkest hours.

The beauty of your Mother's Love, 

is our greatest blessing.
