We're being bombarded with some pretty intense Cosmic energies on the planet right now. A recent Coronal Mass Ejection on the Sun is expected to have an affect on the Earth's magnetic field tomorrow, on Valentine's Day. This has been creating some beautiful pink auroras, as captured by photographer Shane Martin.
“We were out exploring some old buildings and got surprised by some nice pink auroras,” says photographer Shane Martin. “These were different as they were north and directly overhead. Thule’s lights are usually south of our base.”
"More pink lights could be in the offing on Feb. 14th as the CME approaches. High latitude sky watchers should remain alert for auroras."

I find it magically delicious that we are receiving an outpouring of these ''Cosmic Love Rays", directly from the Sun and that they are creating these beautiful pink (the color of Unconditional Love) auroras on February 14th, Valentine's Day...the day on which we, in Western Culture, celebrate Love. How incredible it is for all of these things to be occurring on the same day, and that it would be a Sunday (typical day of rest). Additionally, here in the Northeast, we are experiencing some bitter cold weather and being advised to refrain form being outdoors for long. This has many of us looking at spending our Valentine's Day "cozied up" at home, safely sheltered from the cold. What a perfect excuse to spend the day honoring and loving ourselves by doing the things we love most to do when we are at home. It is a perfect time to celebrate our Selves as ''Valentine"...to be our own sweetheart and choose to love ourselves more than the need to be loved by other. I encourage you to spend some time on this Valentine's Day cherishing and Loving your Self....be your own Valentine and make yourself the best Valentine ever! I know that I, for one, am going to embrace the cold and spend the day nurturing, pampering and truly enjoying ME...doing exactly what I want, and I encourage those of you out there who are not spending the day with a special someone or someones to do the same on this magically delicious Valentine's Day.
